Seriously, visiting a HTML5 apps barely differs from downloading a binary now anyway (difference: sandbox) and there's not much reason JS should have this incredibly strong first-class treatment...On twitter.com

OTOH I do value the web platform a lot, it's super awesome having this standard for displaying formatted text and input that you can rely on working for interop as well (and I don't know any way to layout as good as in CSS - although it can be painful)Permalink On twitter.com
