  1. Hey #electronics twitter: I'm considering switching to @AislerHQ for my PCBs, but these for slotted holes for the USB-C connector are doubling the PCB price. Anyone know a good USB-C 2.0 connector/footprint compatible with the "budget" tier?

      datasheet of current connector: datasheet.lcsc.com/lcsc/2205251630_Korean-Hroparts-Elec-TYPE-C-31-M-12_C165948.pdf Just using round pads wouldn't work because there's not enough clearance for the SMT pads.
