          after all this testing I'm still undecided on which shape I prefer... @gHeavyIndustry you're not into (making) "3d" designs, but you probably know more than me anyhow: do you know any designs that are more like the convex one I made first in these pictures?

            I did the concave "bowl" shape inspired by the Dactyl, because I never got to try one and the shape seemed kind of counterintuitive originally. After this I get the point, but the concave shape still is a much more comfortable resting position

              it sacrifices one row of keys, but you've advocated for less rows and more layers in the past, and with 6 layers per thumb I should be good for sure :D
