      @RetrxTheBoy @notch @alberto9324 I proved you wrong two years ago: s-ol.itch.io/plonat-atek (PureData is the open source variant of Max, developed by the same people. They are basically identical except that Max has a nicer UI and a much larger standard library by now)

    @RetrxTheBoy @notch @alberto9324 This game produces only sound, but that sound can be viewed on an Oscilloscope to reveal a full 2d breakout-y game. Max also has nodes for accelerated rendering (2d and 3d) so making "normal" games is perfectly possible.
