@PaniQ @toastroom can relate to your usage of 'explain'; especially discussing tech with my boss where i know we often mismatch language or concepts and need a few attempts to make sure we are thinking of the same.

@PaniQ @toastroom In fact its almost reverse explaining; often I start talking with the assumption that we are at an agreement already and as I go some misunderstandings are revealed. So temporarily the synchronization "gets worse" (from my perspective)

@PaniQ @toastroom dont know what @toastroom's native language is, but maybe its a german thing? "erklären" definitely has a strong connection to "elaborate" for me, besides the obvious "explain"
